Monastery

Christ the King Priory has been in Schuyler, Nebraska since 1935. Our community consists of ten monks. We are Missionary Benedictines dedicating ourselves to prayer, hospitality and missionary work.

The Liturgy of the Hours, daily celebration of the Eucharist, and lectio divina provide the foundation of our common life. We serve the Church and the world through Mission Formation & Development, Retreat Center Hospitality, Immigrant & Refugee Ministry, Youth and Young Adult Ministry, Liturgical Vestry Tailor Shop, and Pastoral Assistance.
